We are working with a freight company that is seeking an experienced and reliable person to manage 3rd party transport procurement.
Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase 3rd party transport services for the EU, Non EU/UK transport
- Negotiate transport rates, routes, and delivery timeframes
- Secure the most cost-effective and efficient transport solutions for Express, Same day, JIT, Full Load, Part Load and Groupage.
- Liaise with carriers and ensure good relationships are made
Requirements:
- Experience in freight, road freight and transport logistics
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good understanding of EU & Non EU/UK routes, pricing, and transport efficiency
