Global market leader in logistics, package delivery, and express mail services is seeking a Logistics Van Driver to join their Manchester Airport depot team. Apply today and get those wheels in motion!
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm, with a 30-minute break
Location: Manchester Airport
Hourly Rates: £14.25 basic hourly rate, £21.38 overtime hourly rate (after 45 hours)
Contract Type: TTP
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent our client positively, maintaining a clean vehicle and courteous demeanor.
- Handle daily delivery and collection of shipments.
- Use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanners, to deliver an allocated number of shipments daily.
- Perform daily safety checks, ensure safe loading and securing of loads, and adhere to maintenance, legislative regulations, and company driving standards, including tachograph regulations.
About You:
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points and no disqualifications in the last five years.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about delivering excellent service.
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Experience in a multi-drop courier role and good geographical knowledge are advantageous but not essential, as training and equipment are provided.
