We are recruiting LGV 2 Security drivers to work for our customer, a leading name within the high‑value transportation of goods and services. The main role is to ensure safe and secure transport of high‑value and sensitive goods throughout the U.K.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pickups and deliveries of high‑value shipments
- Maintain a high standard of work at trade shows and special events
- Load and unload the armoured vehicle
- Ensure the safety and protection of assets at all times
- Provide an excellent level of customer service at all times
- Respect and follow company guidelines and procedures
- Drive an armoured vehicle while following road safety regulations
- Maintain a high level of vigilance at all times
- Complete daily reports and vehicle checks
- Carry out other ad‑hoc duties as requested
Key Skills & Requirements
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Holding an SIA licence is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent ethics and integrity
- High attention to detail

- Professional positive demeanour
- Minimum age 25 years or older
- At least 180 days of driving experience in this class of vehicle in the last 2 years
- References for the last 5 years and a successful DBS check
Remuneration and Hours
Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience plus overtime (1.5× hourly rate), rising after a successful probation period. Hours vary from early shifts starting at 06:00 am to the latest finish at 22:00 pm, with overtime and optional weekend work at an enhanced rate available.
