Overview
Export Customs Brokerage Agent at FORGE. Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Receive documents.
- Prepare customs entries in Customsware or other customs software.
- Understand the elements of the Import & export customs SOP.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
- Ensure timely customs clearance of shipments.
- Monitor customs clearances and communicate with Customers.
Qualifications
- Global logistics industry knowledge
- Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
- Fluent in English
Performance Expectations
- Timely and Accurate Shipment Processing: Ensures smooth and timely freight process flow according to Company operational procedures. Follows customer\βs standard operating procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues. Consistently meets KPI standards, as per company\βs procedures.
- Timely and Accurate Data Entry: Ensures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to Company operational procedures and customer requirements. Monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution.
- Timely and Accurate Billing and Accounting: Invoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Company and customer requirements. Properly provisions service provider charges to avoid reserves. Follows proper credit approval processes in order to minimize risk and protect the company.
Hours
The hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 6:30pm.
Salary depending on experience.
