Transport Customer Service Operator

Salary: Between £28,000 and £30,000 per year

We are working with a well-respected European Roadfreight organisation seeking to recruit a Transport Customer Service Operator.

Ideal candidates will have experience in International Roadfreight and Transport for Exports.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Working in a Customer Service capacity within the Import & Export Roadfreight departments
2. Possessing excellent communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and the ability to resolve queries efficiently
3. Liaising directly with customers
4. Taking all transport booking details
5. Tracing and tracking freight and updating freight status
6. Pre-advise of deliveries or failed deliveries
7. Investigating late or damaged freight
8. Updating systems and spreadsheets
9. Ensuring high levels of customer service through continuous communication

This position offers an immediate start and is on a temp to perm basis.
