Our client is looking for an experienced Courier Driver.
Type: Temp - Perm
Be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments, enhancing the customer experience at every stage. It is essential to demonstrate the company's principles and ethos at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct completion of Global Logistics provider/Customer data and documentation.
- Accurately record working and driving hours to comply with road transport regulations.
- Complete daily safety checks, ensure safe loading and securing of the vehicle, and maintain the vehicle according to legislative regulations.
- Scan and work efficiently to meet warehouse deadlines.
- Complete multiple deliveries and collections of shipments of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Holder of a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years (for insurance purposes) - essential.
- Strong geographical knowledge and route planning skills.
- Experience in a frontline, customer-facing role.
- Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a digital tachograph card.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:30
Rate: Β£14.25 per hour
Additional notes: 5-year history referencing and DBS check will be required upon successful interview. If you do not hear back within 7 working days, please assume you have been unsuccessful.
