Airfreight Export Clerk required to join this busy agent.
Job Summary: To assist in managing the Airfreight Export Operations desk liaising directly with Clients, Suppliers, Exporters and Consignees. Ideally looking for 2-3 years + experience within Exports. Due to being a small forwarder, everyone helps out in all areas when needed.
Duties And Tasks:
- Handling all export documentation from A - Z
- Cutting HAWB and MAWB
- Arranging transport for clients and third-party companies
- Supporting the operations team with daily operational activities (booking, post flights etc.)
- Providing a high level of customer service at all times
- Providing quotations for clients and our foreign agents
- Negotiating rates with airlines and suppliers
- Export customs entries
- Consolidations
- Costing files
- Liaising with warehouse with documents and freight.
Salary is ranging from £30k-£35k depending on experience. 37.5 hours per week - Odd weekends required; overtime will be paid.
