We are working with an established forwarder near Heathrow, who are recruiting for an Air Import/Export AOG Clerk.
Shifts 4 on 4 off nights 7pm-7am
Purpose
Co-ordination of Express and Time Critical Logistics
Responsible for invoicing & profitability
Responsible for Customs Compliance
Processing of HMRC queries through to resolution and closure, minimising duty/tax liability
Core Capabilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Excellent AOG/NFO & Express Knowledge
A mature and professional manner.
HMRC Customs Procedural knowledge Including Entry submission Exp/Imp
Confidence with a computer including excel, CRM database and BoxTop.
Enjoy working with customers and building relationships. Must be able to work well within a target driven environment.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
Day to Day responsibility for customer service delivery to Express Clients
Management of operational email Inbox, and procedural work flows of consignments
Follow up and resolve all operational issues / customer service concerns raised by the customer
Responsible for Sales Invoicing on a timely basis and job costing accuracy
Processing of import/export documents and creation/submission of Customs Entry Declarations
Keep up to date with Market trends, products, services and news.
Establish and Maintain Internal and External Relationships.
Fully Document attributed clients business processes and requirements.
Ensuring accuracy of Export and Import entry declarations through self-auditing
