Forge Wood Primary is seeking an inspiring and dedicated KS1 or EYFS Class Teacher to join our vibrant school community on a permanent basis from April 2026. Overview
Your opportunity in this role is to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the educational needs of all children, ensuring excellent teaching and learning across the class. You will plan and deliver well-structured lessons with clear objectives, high expectations, and appropriate levels of challenge, while effectively managing the classroom environment and utilising assessment to support progress. As a reflective practitioner, you will differentiate learning, deploy support staff effectively, and foster independence, curiosity, and pride in children's work. Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will contribute to the pastoral care of pupils, maintain clear communication with parents and external agencies, and carry out monitoring, assessment, and reporting duties. You will also participate in staff meetings, professional development, appraisal processes, and the wider life of the school, ensuring strong teamwork and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
