Forge Talent are currently with a Market Leading Technology based in Manchester City Centre who are looking to hire an experienced Interim FP&A Analyst. The role will be for 12 months initially with potential to get extended. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is looking to start asap and is based on a hybrid working model.
Accountable for the preparation, review, and enhancement of core business reporting. Produce timely and accurate key financial reports. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, providing clear explanations of trends, variances, and performance outcomes. Analyse critical financial metrics, including margin performance, and broader KPIs. Lead the development, maintenance, and optimisation of financial models to support decision-making. Build and maintain robust databases to capture and analyse KPIs. Review the existing model suite, identifying opportunities for automation, standardisation, and efficiency improvements. Support strategic financial planning and performance management processes. Participate in monthly forecasting meetings with business units, preparing insightful analysis for Board review to monitor financial performance and outcomes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Advanced Excel skills required for financial modelling.
- Experience in a similar commercial finance role.
- Qualified/Nearly Qualified Accountant.
- Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and take initiative.
- Team player.
- Ability to present information.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills – a problem solver, who can understand and communicate complex issues.
Salary and benefits: The FP&A Analyst role is paying up to £60,000 for the right candidate.
