The business is currently in a construction and investment phase, operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with significant growth ambitions and external funding requirements. This is a pivotal role sitting close to senior leadership, offering real ownership and the opportunity to shape financial processes during a critical stage of the journey.
The Role
This is a broad, hands‑on position combining both financial and management accounting responsibilities, with strong exposure to operational and strategic decision‑making. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning month‑end processes, delivering accurate and timely management accounts
- Leading on financial reporting, controls, and statutory accounting requirements
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Partnering with operational stakeholders to challenge and improve performance
- Playing a key role in processes following the implementation of Sage
- Supporting investment activity, including due diligence and investor reporting
- Taking ownership of a significant portion of responsibilities currently held by senior finance leadership
Profile
This role requires someone credible, commercially sharp, and confident operating in a high‑growth environment. Key requirements:
- ACA / ACCA qualified with a few years post‑qualified experience
- Strong grounding in both financial accounting and management accounting
- Ability to operate with autonomy and take ownership
