The company has recently gone through integration and continues to grow, making this a key hire within the finance team with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and commercial decision-making.
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant who is hands-on, commercially focused, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environment.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Senior Management Accountant will take ownership of the management accounting function and play a key role in supporting the business through accurate reporting, analysis, and commercial insight.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts
- Leading year-end processes and liaising with auditors
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Margin analysis and commercial performance reporting
- Partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders
- Supporting decision-making through insightful financial analysis
- Continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls
Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Strong management accounting background
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a predominantly office-based role
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or product-based businesses preferred
