Forge Talent is growing fast, and we’re looking for Trainee Recruiters to join our interim brand, specializing in Systems & Projects across Finance. If you’ve got high energy, real enthusiasm, a collaborative mindset, and a serious work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Why Forge Talent? Since May 2023, we’ve grown from 1 to 14 people, placing 350+ finance professionals across Manchester. We’re a business built on relationships, not transactions. No politics. No nonsense. Just good people doing things properly.
What you’ll get:
- Robust training from day one
- 1:1 mentoring
- A clear progression plan
- The tools and backing to build your desk properly
- Transparent commission (up to 30% - no smoke and mirrors)
- Autonomy to run your desk your way
- High performers around you (£250k–£500k billers)
The Role:
Location: Manchester City Centre (Spinningfields)
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 + bonus
This is a 360 recruitment role and a sales-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Business development - we’re a phone-first business, focused on building relationships across the North West, not hiding behind emails
- Working closely with clients delivering ERP & Finance Systems implementations (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics), often supporting when internal resource is stretched or timelines are slipping
- Identifying and building networks of Finance Systems professionals, from Systems Accountants and Process Improvement specialists to BI Analysts and FP&A profiles with strong systems capability
- Supporting clients post-implementation or during growth phases, helping improve processes, controls, and drive better use of existing systems
- Recruiting into data, reporting and BI roles, where businesses are moving from manual reporting to automated, insight-led outputs
- Partnering on project and commercial finance hires, including Project Accountants, Commercial Analysts, and finance professionals supporting operational decision-making
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from job qualification through to offer management and aftercare
- Building deep, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates
- In most cases, you’ll be working with clients who need 1-2 proven contractors who can come in quickly, add value, and deliver, not large consultancies or long hiring processes.
What we’re looking for:
- A collaborative approach
- Naturally inquisitive
- A genuine desire to learn and grow
- If you don’t want to work in a 360, sales-led environment, this probably isn’t for you.
