Company Overview: High-growth, private equity-backed professional services platform operating within the UK healthcare sector. The business has scaled rapidly through a disciplined buy-and-build strategy, strong operational governance, and a focus on institutional-quality infrastructure. The business is now going through a Transformation programme and we are looking for someone to lead that.
Role Purpose: An experienced and commercially strong Finance professional who can review, redesign and elevate the month-end reporting and control environment. This role requires someone confident and capable of challenging existing ways of working and introducing best-practice processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and redesign the month-end reporting process to improve efficiency and clarity
- Reduce reporting cycle times while improving quality and insight
- Embed robust internal controls and governance processes
- Identify and implement automation opportunities
- Challenge current processes and introduce best-practice alternatives
- Work closely with the Senior Management Accountant to restructure the team
- Clarify roles, responsibilities and ownership across the finance team
- Improve the quality and commercial relevance of management reporting
Experience and Profile:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong background in management accounting and reporting
- Experience improving finance team structures and workflows
- Track record of embedding controls and strengthening compliance
- Strong process improvement and automation experience
- Commercially minded and confident influencing stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
