Financial Controller (Greater Manchester)

Forge Talent are excited to be partnering a Global Manufacturing business as they embark on the search for a Financial Controller in Greater Manchester.

The Role:

• Analyse profitability by customer and product, and ensure the results align with the costing system
• Lead the forecasting process across the business to support future decisions
• Define and calculate standard costs, and update variables from other departments needed for pricing, tariffs, and quotations
• Track costs and margins weekly as required
• Work with the shared services and credit control teams to assess customer risk and make decisions accordingly
• Manage the company’s Annual Investment Plan and perform profitability studies on investments
• Ensure compliance with tax, labour, and accounting regulations to meet external audit requirements
• Adhere to internal regulations, especially to meet Group Audit standards
• Pay close attention to detail and deliver timely group reporting

Qualifications & Experience:

• CIMA Qualified Accountant
• Experience in Manufacturing/Logistics/Construction
• Experience working with SAP
• Ideally 5+ years in a similar role

Salary & Benefits:

• £70,000-£75,000
