Financial Controller

Forge Talent are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Financial Controller for a PE Backed company based in Central Manchester. The role would be for 6 months initially and be paying up to £68,000 for the right candidate. The role would be looking to start as soon as possible and would be on a hybrid working model. The role would consist of the following duties:Act as a finance business partner to operations, sales, and senior management, providing commercial and financial insight.Support the wider team and managers with financial analysis to aid decision-making.Timely production of management accounts in line with Group deadlines.Maintain strong financial controls and oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Provide performance reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis for board reporting.Support budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management to improve profitability and cash flow.Drive improvements in financial processes and automation.Identify financial risks and opportunities to support strategic planning.Play a key role in the annual audit and ensure regulatory compliance, including VAT reporting.Ad-hoc financial and operational projects when required.Experience & Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified AccountantWorked in similar position previouslyStrong technical groundingAble to balance control, delivery and forward-looking insight
