Forge Talent are excited to be partnering a Global Manufacturing business as they embark on the search for a Financial Controller in Greater Manchester.
The Role:
- Analyse profitability by customer and product, and ensure the results align with the costing system.
- Lead the forecasting process across the business to support future decisions.
- Define and calculate standard costs, and update variables from other departments needed for pricing, tariffs, and quotations.
- Track costs and margins weekly as required.
- Work with the shared services and credit control teams to assess customer risk and make decisions accordingly.
- Manage the company’s Annual Investment Plan and perform profitability studies on investments.
- Ensure compliance with tax, labour, and accounting regulations to meet external audit requirements.
- Adhere to internal regulations, especially to meet Group Audit standards.
- Pay close attention to detail and deliver timely group reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CIMA Qualified Accountant.
- Experience in Manufacturing/Logistics/Construction.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Ideally 5+ years in a similar role.
Salary & Benefits:
- £70,000-£75,000.
- 15% performance related bonus.
