Forge Talent are excited to be partnering a Global Manufacturing business as they embark on the search for a Financial Controller in Greater Manchester.

The Role:

  • Analyse profitability by customer and product, and ensure the results align with the costing system.
  • Lead the forecasting process across the business to support future decisions.
  • Define and calculate standard costs, and update variables from other departments needed for pricing, tariffs, and quotations.
  • Track costs and margins weekly as required.
  • Work with the shared services and credit control teams to assess customer risk and make decisions accordingly.
  • Manage the company’s Annual Investment Plan and perform profitability studies on investments.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, labour, and accounting regulations to meet external audit requirements.
  • Adhere to internal regulations, especially to meet Group Audit standards.
  • Pay close attention to detail and deliver timely group reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CIMA Qualified Accountant.
  • Experience in Manufacturing/Logistics/Construction.
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Ideally 5+ years in a similar role.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £70,000-£75,000.
  • 15% performance related bonus.
  • Private Medical.
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • Parking.
