Forge Talent are partnered with a high-growth business looking for a Financial Analyst who’s more than just a number cruncher. We want someone who can find the data, make sense of it, and turn it into real value for the business, not someone who waits around for IT to pull reports for them. This is a role for a go-getter: ambitious, career-driven, and comfortable getting stuck in. You’ll need to be adaptable, solution-focused, and confident enough to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders. This position is pivotal in ensuring effective cash flow management, forward-looking financial planning, and delivering the insight the business needs to make smart decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce forward-looking financial projections, with particular emphasis on cash flow forecasting
- Track and interpret cash flow performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities early
- Deliver accurate management accounts, reviewing results and providing clear, insightful commentary
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making
- Confidently extract and manipulate data directly from integrated financial systems, without relying on others
- Streamline and improve financial processes to boost accuracy, speed, and efficiency
- Partner with internal teams and liaise with external advisors and auditors to deliver robust outputs
- (Desirable) Involvement in project or event accounting, as well as supporting treasury and cash management activities
- Strong background in financial projections and cash flow management
- Excellent Excel skills with proven ability to develop advanced models
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing management accounts
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
- Exposure to treasury management
- Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth setting
