Talent Consultant – Commercial & Traditional Finance Specialist across the North West
We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join a leading legal organisation based in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to make an impact within a well-established and forward-thinking business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in adding value to the finance function, managing a small team, and supporting strategic decision-making through effective business partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial reporting
- Help to deliver monthly management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
- Provide strategic financial insights and support to senior stakeholders through effective business partnering
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting systems
- Oversee cash flow management, financial planning, and analysis
- Liaise with external auditors
- Support the wider business with ad hoc financial projects and commercial analysis
Key Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager role, ideally within the legal or wider professional services sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent business partnering skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
- Experience or interest in data visualisation tools such as Power BI is highly desirable
