You will build and shape tax and treasury strategy, design scalable frameworks, optimize cash flow, manage global risk, and unlock new financial opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Go beyond compliance to uncover commercial value through proactive and intelligent tax planning, including R&D tax credits, Patent Box optimisation and other incentive schemes.
- Provide forward‑looking advice on the tax implications of international growth, new product launches and pricing structures.
- Take ownership of transfer pricing strategy, maintain robust documentation and shape IP and entity structures to support sustainable global expansion.
- Track global tax and economic developments, anticipate their impact and implement effective strategies.
- Build, strengthen and maintain strategic relationships with banking partners.
- Design and implement scalable treasury frameworks that optimise liquidity, manage foreign exchange exposure and safeguard against market volatility.
- Work closely with FP&A and senior leadership to identify investment opportunities, ensuring excess cash is deployed effectively to maximise returns.
- Oversee all aspects of UK and international tax compliance, including corporate tax, VAT/Sales Tax and employment‑related taxes, ensuring deadlines are met and risks minimised.
- Take full responsibility for US sales tax compliance while managing relationships with external tax advisors and partners.
- Act as the go‑to tax authority within the business, translating complex regulations into clear, actionable insight for non‑finance stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong control environment by ensuring the company is audit‑ready and lead tax authority interactions confidently and effectively.
About You
- Right balance of technical expertise, commercial mindset and drive.
- ACA / CTA qualified, with 5–8 years’ experience.
- Top 10 training, with in‑house experience.
- Strong understanding of UK & US tax.
- Clear communicator, able to make tax and treasury accessible to non‑finance stakeholders.
