They’re looking for a proactive Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function within a growing manufacturing business. With group turnover of £25m+ and ambitious plans ahead, this pivotal role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finance activities, including AP, AR, supplier payments, and cash management
• Lead planning, forecasting, and cash flow decisions
• Drive month‑end and year‑end close processes, management accounts, and statutory reporting
• Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and documentation
• Support integration and rationalisation across group divisions
• Deliver insight, analysis, and recommendations to the Board
• Mentor and support team

Skills & Experience

• 2–3+ years’ experience in a finance management role (manufacturing/SME preferred)
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (study support available)
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable with legacy or modern finance systems
• Experience in business partnering, process improvement, and reporting under deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and team leadership skills
• Experience in systems migrations or business integrations is a major plus

Package

Up to £55,000 + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + pension
