We are exclusively recruiting for a Procurement Manager to lead day-to-day procurement operations across direct spend categories within a regulated healthcare environment. This role is responsible for end-to-end sourcing, category management, tender delivery, contract governance, and supplier performance, ensuring best value, compliance, and continuity of supply to support critical clinical services.
You will partner closely with clinical, operational, and finance stakeholders while supporting the delivery of procurement strategy and measurable cost improvements.
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle across allocated direct categories
- Ensure procurement activity achieves best value and risk mitigation
- Maintain accurate contract registers and compliance monitoring
- Monitor supplier performance and address service issues proactively
- Support delivery of procurement savings targets and efficiency improvements
- Ensure timely procurement to support fast-paced operational demands
- Produce reports, tender documentation, and performance insights
- Communicate procurement plans, progress, and outcomes clearly
- Promote procurement best practice across the organisation
- Conduct commercial negotiations and provide procurement recommendations
- Escalate high-risk or high-value decisions as required
Proven procurement experience within healthcare, medical, or regulated sectors
Strong knowledge of the end-to-end procurement cycle and tendering processes
Strong report writing and tender documentation skills
