We’re partnering with a Private Equity–backed organisation embarking on a critical exit readiness programme, and we’re seeking a high-impact Process Improvement Specialist to drive transformation across their credit control and order-to-cash function. This is a 6–9 month interim assignment with immediate visibility and influence, where your ability to deliver tangible cash outcomes and operational improvements will directly support the business’s valuation journey. This is not a BAU role; it’s a hands-on transformation brief for someone who can assess, design, and execute at pace within a PE environment.
The opportunity:
- You’ll take ownership of diagnosing current-state inefficiencies and leading the redesign of credit control processes end-to-end.
- Working closely with finance leadership and operational stakeholders, you’ll bring structure, pace, and accountability to improve cash performance and embed sustainable best practice.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose and remediate process inefficiencies across the order-to-cash lifecycle.
- Design and implement a clear, commercially focused improvement roadmap.
- Introduce robust controls, KPIs, and governance frameworks to drive performance.
- Lead from the front in cash collection activity & reducing debt ledger.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive behavioural and process change.
- Deliver measurable improvements in working capital and cash conversion.
About you:
- Proven track record in credit control transformation or process improvement roles.
- Experience operating in Private Equity–backed or fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of order-to-cash, working capital, and cash flow drivers.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to both design and deliver.
- Credible communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Immediately available or available at short notice.
