Forge Talent are partnering with a high-growth, investor-backed business to recruit a Management Accountant during an exciting period of expansion.

This is an opportunity to join a business that’s scaling quickly, where finance is viewed as a genuine commercial partner rather than simply a reporting function.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Finance Director, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making while taking ownership of core finance responsibilities from the outset.

The business is backed by experienced investors with an impressive history of growing successful companies, and they’re building a finance team capable of supporting the next phase of that journey.

As the company continues to evolve, there will be plenty of opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their experience, develop commercially and progress into a more senior finance role over time.

Whether you’re a newly qualified accountant, approaching qualification, or looking to make your first move from practice, this position offers exposure well beyond traditional month-end accounting.

You’ll become involved in forecasting, commercial analysis, business planning and projects that directly influence the direction of the business.

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include

  • Producing monthly management accounts and supporting the month-end close process.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
  • Providing commercial and financial support to teams across the wider business.
  • Supporting business projects and helping deliver strategic finance initiatives.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, wants to develop professionally and is keen to work in a business where your contribution will genuinely make a difference.

  • A proactive and commercially minded approach.
  • Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
