Forge Talent are currently engaged with a Market Leading business based near Bolton who are looking to hire an experienced Interim Financial Accountant. The role will be for 9 months initially with potential to get extended. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is looking to start asap and is based on a hybrid working model.
The Role!
- Month-End & Consolidation: Preparation of month-end workings, including consolidation reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Preparation of annual and half-year accounts, as well as group statutory accounts.
- Board & Audit Committee Papers: Preparation of finance papers for Board and Audit Committee meetings.
- M&A Support: Support for mergers and acquisitions, including investment reporting and due diligence.
- Operational & Commercial Evaluation: Evaluation of new operational and commercial initiatives to drive strategic decisions.
- Capital Expenditure Analysis: Providing analysis and recommendations on capital expenditure investment decisions.
- Financial Performance Monitoring: Monitoring financial performance in new business areas to ensure strategic alignment and profitability.
- Process & Control Improvements: Driving improvements in financial processes and internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified or QBE
- Worked in a similar role previously
- Solid communicator
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong systems and excel skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- PE Exposure
Day Rate: The Interim Financial Accountant role is paying up to £60,000 or day rate equivalent.
