We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer on behalf of our client to join their team on a Permanent basis.
Key requirements:
- Plan, schedule and manage NPI and engineering activities using critical path analysis, ensuring alignment with customer and business timelines.
- Apply APQP methodology from concept through to launch, including PFMEA, Control plans and process validation.
- Attend and contribute to regular project and customer progress meetings, leading internal meetings where required.
- Coordinate and manage the resolution of technical issues, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment, including press tooling and robotic welding systems.
- Maintain daily interaction with customers, including use of customer portals and adherence to customer specific requirements.
- Ensure effective communication between engineering, production, quality, supply chain and external suppliers.
Experience managing cross-functional and diverse teams including:
