Forge Recruitment are recruiting experienced Bench Joiners for a busy and growing bespoke joinery contractor based in Ongar.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled team delivering premium retail and commercial fit-outs for some of the world’s most recognised brands.
The Role:
- Workshop-based joinery in Ongar initially
- Manufacturing high-end bespoke joinery and fixtures
- Assisting with site installations and fit-outs across London and occasionally further afield
- Regular overtime available
- Long-term, ongoing work
What We're Looking For:
- Previous bench joinery experience
- Experience operating workshop machinery
- Veneer press experience advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to work both in the workshop and on-site
- CSCS / qualifications required to evidence previous experience
- Have own tools
Hours & Benefits:
- Workshop hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
- Frequent overtime available
- Time and a half paid after 7:00pm and weekends
- Typical working weeks of 50-70 hours available (if desired)
- Travel paid where applicable for site work
- Temp and temp-to-perm opportunities
