The Role
As Supply Chain Administrator, you'll play an important role in ensuring customer orders move smoothly from initial enquiry through to delivery.
It's a varied position where you'll work closely with customers, suppliers, hauliers and colleagues across the business, helping coordinate orders, resolve issues and make sure customers receive a high level of service.
Your responsibilities will include
- Processing customer and supplier orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitoring orders through to fulfilment and ensuring deliveries remain on schedule.
- Liaising with customers regularly regarding orders, products and service.
- Communicating with suppliers and hauliers to confirm delivery status and resolve issues.
- Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Handling customer queries or complaints and helping find appropriate solutions.
- Maintaining accurate purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes and other supply-chain documentation.
- Entering and maintaining information within SAGE, ERP and other business systems.
- Supporting sales enquiries and directing calls where appropriate.
- Working within the company's ISO 9001 quality procedures.
