Byworth Boilers are a leading UK manufacturer of industrial steam and hot water boilers, providing engineered boilerhouse solutions to customers across food, beverage, pharmaceutical and general manufacturing industries. Designing and manufacturing in-house, Byworth deliver complete boilerhouse packages including installation, commissioning, service and spares. As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an Account Manager to develop and grow relationships with key customers while driving new business across their lifecycle portfolio. This role focuses on selling engineered solutions rather than products, positioning Byworth as a long-term technical partner to its customers.
The Role
- You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with key accounts and new customers, promoting the full range of Byworth’s products and services.
- Managing and growing key customer relationships.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Selling capital equipment, service and spares as part of a solutions-led approach.
- Acting as the main point of contact between customer and internal teams.
- Conducting regular site visits and meetings.
- Working closely with engineering and operational teams to deliver customer requirements.
- Building long-term partnerships and repeat business.
About You
- Experience selling capital equipment, service and/or spares within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong commercial acumen – able to sell solutions and negotiate effectively.
- Sound engineering knowledge (steam processing industry beneficial).
- Preferably a strong network within food & beverage, pharmaceutical, brewing/distilling or general manufacturing.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder.
- Experience within boilerhouse, steam or process plant environments is advantageous but not essential.
