FORGE LOGISTICS LTD is a veteran-owned and operated company based in Euxton. We have a long-established relationship with the world\’s largest online retailer and are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team.
What Does The Job Involve?
The job involves mainly night shifts, subject to change on a weekly basis. You will be doing pure driving with no handling of the load, working a 4 on, 4 off rota with extra days possible subject to your availability. Start times vary, and your flexibility is required week-to-week. All work is scheduled via a special app, and you will be required to perform thorough vehicle checks and adhere to all driving and working time regulations.
Requirements include:
- Having held a CE licence for at least 1 year
- Consistent Class 1 work since passing/most recently (min. 6 months)
- Experience of commercial night driving
- Professionalism: a sense of ownership & responsibility
- An adapt & overcome mentality
Benefits include:
- 10-12 hour shifts working a 4/4 rota with extras available (subject to WTD regulations and availability)
- Competitive pay: Mon-Fri shifts = £150 per shift, Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays) = £165 per shift
- Yearly Salary: £30,000 – £42,000
- Full fleet of Iveco CNG trucks 71 and 72 plate
- Guaranteed pay for cancelled shifts
- Monthly pay
- 3 month probation period
- Holiday pay and SSP
