Forge Logistics Ltd is a veteran-owned company based in Euxton, Lancashire. We are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team supporting the world’s largest online retailer.
Job Details
Work nights on a 4 on/4 off rota with extras available (subject to WTD regulations and availability). Shifts are 10-12 hours, 4 on, 4 off with start times varying week‑to‑week.
Mon‑Fri shifts are paid £150 per shift; Sat‑Sun and bank holidays are paid £165 per shift. The first year salary is £30,000‑£42,000. New starters begin on the current rate, with an increase to £155 Mon‑Fri and £170 Sat‑Sun after probation.
Responsibilities
- Mainly night shifts – subject to change on a weekly basis.
- Pure driving – no handling of the load.
- 4 on, 4 off rota (with extra days possibly possible subject to your availability).
- Start times vary – flexibility required week‑to‑week.
- All work scheduled via a special app.
- Thorough vehicle checks.
- Adherence to all driving and working time regulations.
