We're looking for a Principal Analyst to become the strategic analytics lead for our Consumer Trade function. This is a senior individual contributor role where your insights won't just support decisions—they'll shape them.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the analytics agenda across Consumer Trade, delivering insights that influence commercial strategy
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Revenue Management, Product and Marketing to uncover opportunities across the business
- Drive a data-first culture by challenging assumptions and ensuring decisions are backed by evidence
- Translate complex analysis into compelling recommendations for senior leaders
- Define key metrics, KPIs and reporting frameworks that keep the business aligned
- Mentor and inspire our analyst community, raising the bar for analytical excellence
What we're looking for:
- Extensive experience delivering strategic analytics and influencing senior stakeholders
- Advanced SQL, Python and Power BI or Tableau expertise
- Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence
- A commercial mindset with experience working across multiple business functions
- Bonus points for experience in e-commerce, travel, advanced statistical modelling, Microsoft Fabric or self-service analytics.
- Up to £60,000 salary
- Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week from our Chester HQ)
