Salary: up to £32,000pa

Report To: Head of Strategic Land Management

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9am until 5:30pm

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading woodland and landscape management initiatives
  • Driving biodiversity enhancement and habitat restoration projects
  • Providing expert advice on environmental legislation and protected species
  • Supporting planning and development projects from an ecological perspective
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders including Natural England, Forestry England, and Wildlife Trusts
  • Managing ecological monitoring programmes and helping deliver measurable environmental improvements
  • Supporting our sustainability ambitions and Biodiversity Net Gain commitments

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in ecology, forestry, conservation, or environmental consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and biodiversity requirements
  • A passion for protecting and enhancing the natural environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified in Ecology, Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
