What you'll be doing:
- Leading woodland and landscape management initiatives
- Driving biodiversity enhancement and habitat restoration projects
- Providing expert advice on environmental legislation and protected species
- Supporting planning and development projects from an ecological perspective
- Building relationships with key stakeholders including Natural England, Forestry England, and Wildlife Trusts
- Managing ecological monitoring programmes and helping deliver measurable environmental improvements
- Supporting our sustainability ambitions and Biodiversity Net Gain commitments
What we're looking for:
- Experience in ecology, forestry, conservation, or environmental consultancy
- Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and biodiversity requirements
- A passion for protecting and enhancing the natural environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified in Ecology, Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
