Overview
We\’re looking for a Web Content Writer who is passionate about telling stories and inspiring people to book their next great escape. You\’ll write compelling, search-engine-optimised property descriptions that bring our holiday homes to life, and help them shine in search results. This is a brilliant opportunity for recent grads or early-career marketers who want to build their skills in digital content, SEO, and conversion-focused writing.
Responsibilities
- Write and update property descriptions that are engaging, accurate, and SEO-friendly
- Utilise keyword research to optimise listings for organic search visibility
- Proofread and polish content to ensure clarity and consistency
- Review customer feedback and ensure listings reflect real guest experiences
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to support campaigns and content strategy
- Use tools like Asana, Tableau, WordPress, Excel, and our in-house CMS to manage and measure your work
Requirements
- A flair for writing and storytelling
- Experience with MS Office and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. English, Journalism, Creative Writing) or equivalent experience
- A portfolio of creative work or writing samples
- Bonus points for experience with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, WordPress or other CMS platforms, and a passion for travel and UK destinations!
Role Details
- Salary – £23,809.50 per annum
- Location – Hybrid working with 2+ days/week in our Chester HQ
- Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00 – 17:30
