forgd partners with Anthropic to help enterprise customers adopt Claude Code, Claude for Enterprise, and the Claude Developer Platform. We work hands-on with enterprise organisations to demonstrate what's possible with Claude, run focused proof-of-value workshops, and guide multi-week engagements that fundamentally change how teams build software and run their businesses.
As an AI Engagement Lead at forgd, you will own the full lifecycle of AI transformation engagements that reshape how enterprises build software and run their businesses. You are the single accountable lead, from scoping through closure and expansion. This is not a traditional project management or post-sales handoff role—you will be a strategic partner who drives measurable AI transformation outcomes alongside our Applied AI Architects, serving as the single point of contact for customer sponsors and executives.
You will manage concurrent engagements across our offering portfolio, ensuring every engagement delivers demonstrable value, drives lasting adoption of Claude within the customer's organisation, and builds the delivery practices that scale forgd's impact. You will lead scoping and SOW authoring with GTM, coordinate teams of 1–5 Applied AI Architects during delivery, and build the templates, methodologies, and operational infrastructure that define how forgd delivers.
Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery of AI transformation engagements as the single accountable lead, from first scoping conversation through SOW, kickoff, execution, closure, and expansion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and forgd's standards of excellence.
- Translate ambiguous inputs (customer decks, proposal drafts, discovery notes, scoping conversations) into structured engagement plans the architect team can deliver against.
- Manage engagement scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Partner with Anthropic's customer success and account teams to coordinate on shared customers—ensuring forgd engagements translate into sustained Claude activation and usage growth.
- Drive expansion within the accounts you own.
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders from individual contributors to engineering leadership.
- Lead scoping, pricing, and SOW authoring for new opportunities with GTM; translate stated customer needs into a priced, sequenced engagement plan the architect team can execute against.
- Establish forgd's delivery framework: create templates, methodologies, and processes that scale our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes—this is a founding role where your contributions directly shape how we work and grow.
- Travel to customer sites (10–20%) for workshops, milestones, and relationship building.
- Customers move from proof-of-value to production adoption with sustained Claude usage growth.
- Engineering teams you've supported measurably change how they build software.
- Strong customer satisfaction, referenceable outcomes, and working relationships with Anthropic account teams.
- Trusted relationships within accounts that compound into expansion.
- Engagements move cleanly across the lifecycle from scoping through expansion.
- 6+ years of engagement management or technology consulting experience, ideally in a single-threaded engagement-lead model where one person owns the customer from scoping through closure.
- Strong track record carrying enterprise engagements end-to-end.
- Proven ability to build and scale delivery processes—you've created the playbooks, not just followed them.
- Passion for the future of software development and genuine excitement about how AI changes the craft of engineering.
- Experience managing executive client relationships with excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences.
- Exceptionally high agency; able to operate autonomously in complex, evolving environments.
- Technical fluency—you can engage credibly with engineers and understand AI/ML concepts.
- Work at the frontier: Partner directly with Anthropic on customer engagements.
- High-impact work: Help engineering organisations transform how they build software—production-bound systems with real constraints, not innovation theatre.
- Founding team opportunity: Join as a founding team member where your contributions directly shape how we work and grow.
- Competitive salary and benefits.
- Remote flexibility.
We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every qualification listed. Research shows that people from underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement—we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely. If you're excited about AI-native development and want to help enterprises transform how they build software, we'd love to hear from you.

How to prepare for a job interview at forgd
✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If forgd uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions
While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
