Are you outgoing, creative with a passion for delivering world-class weddings and events? We are looking for an experienced and talented Wedding & Events Manager to join our fantastic venue, Forgans.

The Role:
- Carrying out all daily operations of the Conference and Banqueting areas.
- Ensure there is open communications at all times between the operational team and sales team.
- Ensure that all guests are given prompt, attentive service at all times.
- Ensure that all front of house areas are well presented, and ensure that all maintenance work carried out by the in-house team is up-to-date.
- Plan and coordinate weddings, receptions, corporate events, parties, and other special occasions.
- Prepare event proposals, timelines, contracts, and quotations.
- Conduct venue tours and assist clients with event planning decisions.
- Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Promote services through networking, marketing activities, and social media where required.
- Ensure all required standards and procedures of the company are met.
The Person:
- Previous experience in event management, hospitality, weddings, or customer service.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and creativity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software.
- A strong commercial awareness.
- Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
