At Forfusion we take pride in delivering world class project delivery and IT Managed Services as Cisco Experts, to our client base. We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and resourceful individual to join our Professional Services Team as a Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Hold responsibility for the successful initiation, resourcing, execution, monitoring and controlled closure of day to day projects.
  • Ensure successful transition is achieved whilst proactively reducing project risk.
  • Work alongside the Consultancy team and Technical Services team to ensure the delivery of customer projects that are on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Provide a reassuring and dependable interface between our delivery teams and our customers throughout the project phase.
  • Ensure first class communication and reporting with the aim of exceeding customer expectations during their times of operational change.
  • Ensure Project Initiation tasks are complete, planning what works are required, why they are required, when they are required and by whom they will be delivered.
  • Proactively identify risks, plan for risk mitigation and manage/monitor processes around accepted project risks.
  • Create tasks and milestones against the agreed scope, and create work packages for the relevant resources against these tasks.
  • Motivate the engaged team of resources involved in the project.
  • Coordinate project workstreams delivered by different resources/organisations.
  • Ensure that customer pre-requisites are effectively communicated and completed prior to implementation works.
  • Continuously monitor that projects are running on time and within budget defined by SORs.
  • Ensure that back office systems are updated with current status of project milestones, and that associated costs/expenses are associated to the relevant workstreams.
  • Manage project change, ensuring that timescales, outcome expectations and budgets are communicated effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer experience by ensuring high level of communication, and timely updates.
  • Coordinate project closure to distil good practice and ensure works are delivered to desired standard.
  • Manage internal feedback log, whereby a change of approach, design or managed offering could avoid a similar future issue.
  • Manage internal communication of planned project delivery, ensuring effective transition to FusionCare managed services, or follow on projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in converting complex Scope of Works requirements into successful solution implementation within budget and timeframes.
  • Demonstrable experience in management of resources, customers and external entities to deliver consistent benefits and outcomes.
  • Experience within an IT professional services background would be an advantage.
  • This role may require DV clearance, therefore applicants must be able to meet the eligibility requirements for this level of security vetting.

Desirable Industry Certifications:

  • CCNA
  • ITIL (Foundation)
  • Prince 2 practitioner (or equivalent recognised industry qualification)

  • Understands the impact of well executed projects on other internal departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management software.

Desirable Academic Qualifications:

  • Higher National Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's Degree (2:1 minimum in relevant subject).
