This role plays a key part in ensuring delivery safety, protecting drivers, customers, and the business from operational and compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the end-to-end new account set-up process and ensuring all farm delivery points are assessed and approved in line with company procedures, contractual obligations, and safe delivery requirements.
  • Complete SAP new account request forms, ensuring all required customer master data is accurate, complete, and aligned to company procedures to enable efficient account creation.
  • Verify that no existing account is already in place before submitting a new request.
  • Submit completed forms to the Master Data Management (MDM) team for validation and enrichment.
  • Liaise with MDM to manage urgent account requests where required.
  • Collate required information from customers and Account Managers, ensuring compliance with company national procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure all delivery points are assessed using the ForFarmers Farm Risk Management (FaRM) tool, with completion required prior to any delivery taking place.
  • Ensure customers / Account Managers provide accurate delivery point information (layout and condition) in line with the ForFarmers guide to safe deliveries on farm, at the earliest opportunity, via FaRM / email or the required photo template.
  • Coordinate submission of completed FaRM assessments and supporting photos to the Transport Team for authorisation.
  • Ensure strict compliance that no delivery is planned or takes place without a correctly completed and authorised FaRM and photo documentation.
  • Confirm that deliveries only commence once full approval has been obtained.
  • Communicate account creation and FaRM status updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and safe delivery readiness.
  • Where the Transport Team identifies Health & Safety concerns at a delivery point, liaise with the Account Manager and customer to agree and coordinate the required corrective actions.
  • Ensure all updates, supporting evidence, and revised site photographs are obtained and processed, facilitating the removal of Health & Safety blocks once issues have been resolved and approved.
  • Undertake reporting requirements as required for new account set up and FaRM.
