This purpose of this role is to support the safe, compliant, and accurate onboarding of new farm accounts across the UK by conducting farm risk assessments, validating customer information, and ensuring all accounts are set up in line with company, contractual, and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in ensuring delivery safety, protecting drivers, customers, and the business from operational and compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end new account set-up process and ensuring all farm delivery points are assessed and approved in line with company procedures, contractual obligations, and safe delivery requirements.
- Complete SAP new account request forms, ensuring all required customer master data is accurate, complete, and aligned to company procedures to enable efficient account creation.
- Verify that no existing account is already in place before submitting a new request.
- Submit completed forms to the Master Data Management (MDM) team for validation and enrichment.
- Liaise with MDM to manage urgent account requests where required.
- Collate required information from customers and Account Managers, ensuring compliance with company national procedures and contractual requirements.
- Ensure all delivery points are assessed using the ForFarmers Farm Risk Management (FaRM) tool, with completion required prior to any delivery taking place.
- Ensure customers / Account Managers provide accurate delivery point information (layout and condition) in line with the ForFarmers guide to safe deliveries on farm, at the earliest opportunity, via FaRM / email or the required photo template.
- Coordinate submission of completed FaRM assessments and supporting photos to the Transport Team for authorisation.
- Ensure strict compliance that no delivery is planned or takes place without a correctly completed and authorised FaRM and photo documentation.
- Confirm that deliveries only commence once full approval has been obtained.
- Communicate account creation and FaRM status updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding and safe delivery readiness.
- Where the Transport Team identifies Health & Safety concerns at a delivery point, liaise with the Account Manager and customer to agree and coordinate the required corrective actions.
- Ensure all updates, supporting evidence, and revised site photographs are obtained and processed, facilitating the removal of Health & Safety blocks once issues have been resolved and approved.
- Undertake reporting requirements as required for new account set up and FaRM.
