The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

To work alongside the blend plant supervisor to manufacture blends, have the IT skills to plan and dispatch blends and receipt raw materials. There will be a requirement to cover admin tasks during holiday/sickness periods. A flexible approach to the working day will be required.

To assist the Supervisor in ensuring the Blend Plant is maintained to a level that meets the requirements of our customers, Site Quality procedures, trading standards and UFAS audits. The ability to work safely and with consideration to others is also important.

Key Accountabilities
  • Health & Safety: Ensure at all times a responsible attitude toward Health & Safety both for yourself and your colleagues, obeying all company and legislative rules.
  • Environmental: Be aware of environmental issues and be fully aware of the particular requirements of the land surrounding the units.
  • FP Quality: Monitor and ensure that all feed loaded meets current and future company and customer requirements and UFAS standards.
  • Manning: Co-operate with colleagues to ensure that the unit is adequately manned at all times and that holiday and sickness cover is provided for.
  • Records: Maintain records both paper and computer to a required standard that is acceptable to management and UFAS Auditors.
  • Hygiene: Ensure that the Blending Plant is maintained to an acceptable standard of hygiene throughout their shift.
  • Stock Rotation: Ensure that you follow procedures so that good stock rotation systems can operate correctly both for Raw Materials and bagged product.
  • Cross Contamination: Ensure that you fully understand and follow laid down procedures thus minimising the risk of cross-contamination across products.
  • UFAS: To ensure that you fully understand and follow laid down procedures.
  • General: Play a full part and assist in the management of the site through support to the Blend Plant Supervisor and other departments through participation in the site management team, meetings and discussions. Is prepared to perform any other task that may be required and that is within their capabilities.

Qualifications
Telehandler licence (beneficial however, training can be provided).
