An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and nurturing nursery kaiako to join the Forfar whānau in a four-day-per-week position. We are a community-based early childhood centre located in St Albans, operating from a homely villa with a large natural outdoor play area. Our centre is licensed for 32 preschool and 14 nursery tamariki, and is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am–5.30pm.

Our primary caregiving approach supports strong, trusting relationships with tamariki and whānau, fostering a genuine sense of wellbeing, belonging, and connection within our community.
We are seeking a kaiako who:
- Holds an ECE qualification and current practising certificate
- Is passionate about working with pēpi and toddlers
- Values nurturing, respectful, and trusting relationships with tamariki and whānau
- Works collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team
- Has a desire to continue growing professionally and contributing positively to centre life
