An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and nurturing nursery kaiako to join the Forfar whānau in a four‑day‑per‑week position. We are a community‑based early childhood centre located in St Albans, operating from a homely villa with a large natural outdoor play area. Our centre is licensed for 32 preschool and 14 nursery tamariki, and is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am–5.30pm.

We are seeking a kaiako who:

  • Holds an ECE qualification and current practising certificate
  • Is passionate about working with pēpi and toddlers
  • Values nurturing, respectful, and trusting relationships with tamariki and whānau
  • Works collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team
  • Has a desire to continue growing professionally and contributing positively to centre life
