We’re looking for a Rates Payment Specialist to join our London team, working alongside our surveyors and Co-Founders as ForeView continues to grow.
The role:
Working closely with our surveyors and Co-Founders, you’ll play a key role in managing, validating and administering Business Rates for some of the UK’s largest property investors, occupiers and corporate portfolios.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing and validating Business Rates bills and assessments from local authorities
- Managing bulk payment and remittance schedules, ensuring timely BACS payments
- Investigating billing errors, overcharges, liability dates, exemptions and reliefs
- Liaising with local authorities to resolve incorrect bills and track refunds
- Maintaining and auditing client property and tenancy data
- Managing escalations, including reminders, summonses and potential enforcement action
What we’re looking for:
- 1–2 years’ experience in Business Rates administration
- Confident written and verbal communication
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability
