Senior Carer - Home Care in Sale, Altrincham and Trafford
ForeverCare is a CQC-registered home care provider building its founding care team in Sale, Altrincham and the wider Trafford area. We are recruiting 4 Senior Carers to deliver high-quality care in people's own homes and to support the quality and consistency of care across the wider team.
£14.04 per hour, plus 45p per mile for eligible work-related mileage. You are employed directly by ForeverCare - not self-employed, not agency.
Important information about hours: there are currently no guaranteed contracted hours, and we would rather say so before you apply than afterwards. We are building our initial workforce ahead of care packages commencing. Successful candidates complete our recruitment, compliance and onboarding process, then take on work as suitable care packages become available. How much work there is, and where and when, depends on the packages we receive and on your own availability and preferred areas.
The role involves providing direct personal care, supporting and guiding Carers and Care Assistants, supporting new carers through induction and shadowing where authorised, monitoring care standards, escalating concerns, maintaining accurate care records, and supporting good practice on safeguarding, medication and infection prevention within your competence.
Full paid induction, including Care Certificate and Oliver McGowan mandatory training, delivered during working hours, supervised by a nurse-led team.
