Forever Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Buddy to work in an alternative provision in Salford, supporting students who have been excluded from mainstream school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting young people with behavioural needs, helping them re-engage with education in a structured and supportive environment.
The role:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural challenges
- Building positive relationships and acting as a consistent mentor
- Supporting students to regulate behaviour and engage in learning
- Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Ability to build trust and positive relationships
- Background in education, youth work, care, or similar is desirable
