Forever Teaching is recruiting a Creative Classroom Assistant (Graduate) to join a Primary SEND School in Manchester & Salford on a long-term basis, starting immediately or in January 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in art, music, drama, design, sport or performance who are passionate about using their creative skills to support children with special educational needs.

Role Overview:
You will be working closely with children with SEND, supporting them both in and out of the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher. Your creative approach will play a key role in helping children engage, express themselves, and develop socially and academically.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND.

* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, creative learning opportunities.

* Use your background in the arts or performance to inspire and motivate children.

* Support the creation of a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

* Respond proactively to the needs of individual pupils, adapting your approach where needed.

We are looking for individuals who:

* Have a background in creative disciplines such as art, music, drama, dance, sport or performance.

* Are patient, empathetic and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

* Have previous experience working with children or young people within the last 2 years.

* Are confident, proactive, and able to use their initiative in a classroom setting. xiskglj

* Hold (or are willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
