This is a permanent leadership opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher ready to take responsibility for curriculum design, staff development and sustained improvement across KS3 KS5. The role is suited to a strong middle leader with a clear record of driving attainment and leading teams effectively. The Maths department comprises 11 teachers, including an Assistant Curriculum Leader (currently Acting Curriculum Leader) and two additional TLR holders. One TLR holder leads Key Stage 3, while the second TLR post is currently vacant and will be available to internal applicants in the new academic year. The department will also welcome an ECT in September. Mathematics outcomes are consistently strong, with GCSE results regularly above national averages and a high proportion of students achieving good grades.
