As a Production Apprentice you will undertake a comprehensive training programme to learn all tasks required as a member of our Production teams. The role is full‑time, based in Auchinleck, UK, and will lead to an SCQF Level 2 qualification in Wood and Timber Industries.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow experienced Production Operators in all areas of the Production department.
  • Support plant utilisation and efficiency initiatives.
  • Work on a range of projects across the site and prepare short presentations on progress.
  • Attend other locations across EGGER UK as required.

Qualifications

  • Good standard of secondary education with National 5 qualifications or equivalent in Maths/Applications of Maths and English.
  • Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Self‑motivated learner with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old by 31 December 2026 to be eligible for the apprenticeship.

Additional Information

From January 2027 the role will require working a rotating 12‑hour shift pattern (06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00). Apprentices under 18 cannot legally undertake night or industrial work.
