Responsibilities
- Carry out practical forest management and estate maintenance tasks including tree felling, inspections, fencing, vegetation management, weed control, and maintenance of footpaths, signage, and visitor facilities.
- Support colleagues across harvesting, environment and wildlife management teams, delivering materials, repairing infrastructure and maintaining key sites.
- Work hands‑on, predominantly outdoors; requiring strong teamwork, problem‑solving and commitment to safety.
- Participate in wider land management activities such as planting, forest maintenance, habitat restoration, peatland management and visitor facilities support.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience working outdoors in forestry, construction or landscaping.
- Understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
- Valid UK driving licence (or suitable alternative); occasional regional travel may be required.
