What you’ll do… As an Active Forests co-ordinator, you will have the unique opportunity to curate a diverse programme of physical activity, health, and wellbeing experiences in the nation’s forests. As part of the innovative Active Forests programme, your role will focus on creating and facilitating engaging and enriching activities for new and returning visitors. Together, we will enhance the wellbeing of our visitors by promoting physical activity and fostering meaningful connections to nature. Play a key role in the successful delivery of local and national events, providing support during weekends and bank holidays to enhance visitor engagement and assist management teams.

Where you’ll work… Alongside your salary, Forestry England contributes an average of 28.97% towards your pension. You will become a member of the Civil Service Defined Benefit Pension Scheme. 25 days holiday a year, raising by one day every year’s service, up to 30 days (pro-rated for part time employees) plus additional days off such as bank holidays.
